Namaste,

The Hindu community in the Bay Area has resolved to come together on Sept 9th, 2006 to participate in Hindu Sangam, a confluence depicting the past, present & future march of the Hindu community in the USA.

Hindu Sangam is a unique event, offering every Hindu an opportunity to come together, experience the rich tradition of our ancient heritage, express our positive contributions to the society we live in, and envision the same in the future. It is a day-long program with several activities in various fields, such as spirituality, yoga, science, performing arts, etc., where the entire family, including youth and children can participate. A number of prominent Hindu and religious leaders both from the USA and India are expected to grace the occasion.

Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) is spearheading the Hindu Sangam efforts along with a number of like-minded organizations. As an esteemed part of our Hindu community in the Bay Area, your organization is requested to take part in this effort to make Hindu Sangam a grand success. Being a community effort, participation from each and every member of Hindu community will add to the positive and collective impression we can make on fellow Bay area residents. We are approaching all Hindu organizations individually to seek their support for Hindu Sangam.
